CHAIN OF LAKES YACHT CLUB LEASE AGREEMENT

This agreement is made this date _______________ between the Chain of Lakes Yacht Club (Lessor) and ____________________ (Lessee).

Deposit: $200.00 (This deposit will be cashed at time of booking and returned after inspection of Chain of Lakes Yacht Club, no damage, return of key and compliance of the guidelines listed below.)

**The full amount of the rental fee is due at the time of contract completion but will not be deposited until the day of the rental.**

**If Lessee cancels this lease 60 days before the date of the rental, the entire deposit will be refunded. NO refund will be made after that time.**

The Lessee agrees to the following terms of rental:

1. Make a deposit upon signing the lease agreement. Deposit is to be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the premises made immediately after this rental. Lessee agrees to be responsible and liable for the cost of repairing any damages sustained on the premise during the rental time.

2. Keep and maintain the premises in as good order, condition and state of repair as premises are found. Lessee will dispose of all decorations and garbage in clubhouse and on the grounds and place in dumpster (West side of property near boat house).

3. Lessee will secure all doors and windows before leaving. Damage deposit will not be refunded if building is not secured.

4. Will not sell alcoholic beverages of any type nor permit gambling.

5. Will not sublet any part of the premises without written consent of the CLYC.

6. When the outdoor fire pit is used it MUST be extinguished prior to leaving the premises for any length of time.

7. I acknowledge that the CLYC shall not be liable for any personal injury or property damage occurring on or to the premises therein, resulting from:

a. Loss of property by theft or burglary;

b. Accidental damage to personal property on or around the premises from the operation or use of any utility or facility of the Lessor on the premises;

c. Any damage caused by the action of the natural elements; or

d. Damage or injury resulting from the conduct of guests, invitees, or employees of the Lessee, whether negligent or otherwise.

**Failure to comply with any or all of the above guidelines included in this lease agreement will result in partial or complete loss of security deposit as deemed appropriate by CLYC Board Members.**
